ABOUT
As they say, 'variety is the spice of life'. With similar upbringings and differing interests, Tim and Sarah like to take a diversified approach to both life and business. They both developed their work ethic being raised on farms in different parts Illinois. From there, life took them two separate directions. Tim stayed in rural America while Sarah moved downtown Chicago for 3 years, followed by a school year in Paris and a summer in Germany with family that still resides there. Their paths crossed when they were both in the wedding parties of a friend, and as they say, the rest is history!
THE TASK FAMILY
Teamwork makes the dream work, and marriage is the epitome of teamwork... especially when you throw a few cute kiddos in the mix. Tim and Sarah have been married since 2006 and he brings the vision and number crunching and she brings the design and details.

Tim has been in the agriculture industry for 20+ years. His college education consisted of Joliet Junior College and Illinois State University. Born on a farm, agriculture has been pulsing through his veins from the beginning. Tim is an avid sports fan and loves helping their kids develop their athletic skills.
Sarah has been a licensed architect since 2010, and in the field since 2005. She earned her degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago and studied at Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture de Versailles in France. She grew up on a farm in Carroll County and loves introducing their 3 children to new cultures.
THE TASK TEAM
We couldn't take a multi-faceted approach to business without an amazing, loyal team. Again, teamwork makes the dream work, and we wouldn't have near the success without these hard-working individuals.
Melissa McCammack
ARCHITECT-IN-TRAINING
Melissa graduated from SIU, Carbondale with her Masters of Architecture in 2011. She has worked at firms in Florida, Missouri, and Illinois. She is co-collaborator and designer with The Task Company and is also employed by a company out of Jacksonville, FL. Melissa and her husband, Derek, welcomed a baby boy, Noah, in September of 2019. He is adored by his big sister Brynn. They enjoy boating, fishing, and just being outdoors in the beautiful Lake Carroll community where they live
Ethan Lartz
MANAGER
Ethan has been with us since 2012. He does everything from book work to pulling weeds. Ethan has a degree in History from Bethel University in Minnesota. A native to the area, he resides in Lena with his wife, Paige, and their two, small children. Ethan is not only a history buff but a plant and flower expert!
Jerrie, Tim's father, retired from the Village of Hinckly in 2011 and made his way west. His job entails day to day operations, plowing snow, mowing lawns, and helping watch and run grandchildren when Sarah is busy. He lives in Lake Carroll with Tim's mom, Tita, and they have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren. Jerrie is an avid gardener and expert vegetable and sauce canner!
