ARTIST'S NOTES
A local woman was crossing the bridge in her fur coat. Classic Europe in harmony with modern Europe. This foot bridge is extremely busy, and there was but a brief moment I could capture her alone. The cascading cranes mimic the curve of the bridge.

OTHER EUROPEAN FAVORITES
I was extremely fortunate to grow up in a family that valued travel and experiences. Usually, we loaded up in our family station wagon and took our annual summer vacation somewhere new across the US. 7th grade was my first excursion to Europe (Germany) for a family wedding, and I was hooked! When the opportunity came to finish my degree in architecture in France with mandatory travel studying, I jumped on it. Traveling the world has changed and challenged my perspective on many of life's questions. I love the dimension architecture gives. How does it feel? How does it smell? What sounds do you hear, etc? But to put architecture into photography can be challenging. You are taking a three dimensional space and experience and flattening it. Can you still capture it's essence?
